Sellozo Release Notes March 2023

We are excited to announce the integration of our system with Amazon Marketing Stream (AMS), a powerful data-streaming service for advertising data sets. This integration will provide near real-time data delivery and eliminate the need for repetitive API calls. In order to provide a seamless and informative experience for our users and to help them better understand the full potential of our app, we have revised the existing hop tours and added some new ones within the app. The revised hop tours will offer a comprehensive and interactive walkthrough of the app, highlighting its key features and benefits.


We are also delighted to announce a new customization feature on our PPC Manager platform. Our users will now have the option to choose the metrics they want to see on the hero cards and save their preferred settings on the charts.


We are also launching Marketplace Insights in Closed BETA where users can benchmark their KPIs against category medians and top performers, giving them valuable insights into their performance relative to others in their industry. The closed BETA phase will allow us to gather feedback from a select group of users, ensuring that the feature is refined and optimized for all users.


New Features:


1. Introducing the integration of our system with Amazon Marketing Stream (AMS) to automate dayparting for campaigns

Our system has been integrated with Amazon Marketing Stream (AMS), a powerful data-streaming service for advertising data sets. This integration will provide near real-time data delivery and eliminate the need for repetitive API calls. By leveraging the power of AWS services, we are able to receive and process advertising data more efficiently, enhancing data integration and operational efficiency.


One of the key benefits of this integration is the ability to automate dayparting for campaigns. Our system now updates campaigns' dayparting schedule automatically based on budget utilization and the ACoS, reducing the manual effort required for daily campaign optimization. We have modified the auto dayparting algorithm to use the AMS hourly reporting, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data for campaign optimization.


In summary, the integration with AMS will provide our users with faster, more efficient, and more accurate data for their advertising campaigns, enabling them to make informed decisions and drive better results.


You can enable this ‘Auto Dayparting’ from PPC Manager -> Campaigns-> Dayparting -> Enable Auto Dayparting toggle on the selected campaigns. Following are the two key points to highlight how it works in conjunction with the assigned campaign budget;

  1. When the campaign exceeds a daily budget utilization of more than 90%, the dayparting schedule for that day will be adjusted by pausing the campaign during the hour with the highest ACoS. This will be repeated on a daily basis until the budget utilization reaches 90%.

  2. On the other hand, when the campaign is not hitting the daily budget utilization of 90%, the previous schedule changes made for that day will be reversed one day at a time until the 90% budget utilization goal is met.

2. Launching the Customization feature for PPC Manager's hero cards and charts.

We are excited to announce a new customization feature on our PPC Manager platform. Our users will now have the option to choose the metrics they want to see on the hero cards and save their preferred settings on the charts. This will provide our users with a more personalized experience and allow them to focus on the metrics that are most relevant to their advertising campaigns.

We've updated Hero Cards in our platform to allow users to choose the metrics they want to view with ease. They can select whatever metrics they want to see on the Hero cards. We have added a new metric, PPC RoAS, which is available across the Dashboard, ProductVu, and PPC Manager. This new feature will provide users with more relevant information and a better understanding of their performance in one convenient location.

With this new feature, you can simply select your desired metrics and save them for future reference. Loading these saved metrics can be done with just a single click, providing a streamlined and efficient process for viewing your preferred data.

Easily choose the metrics you want to view on the PPC table by selecting the desired set of metrics. Save this set by clicking on 'Save Option Set', naming it, and storing it for future use. To load your saved set of metrics, simply click on 'Load Option Set' and select the desired set. This will automatically apply all the saved metrics within that loaded Options set on the PPC table.

Our platform now enables users to save their preferred graph options between sessions. This means that you can customize the way your data is displayed on the graph, save those options, and have the same settings reapplied the next time you access the graph. This feature allows for a more efficient and personalized experience, saving time and ensuring consistent data visualization.

3. Launching Marketplace Insights in Closed BETA allows users to benchmark their KPIs against category medians and top performers

Launching Marketplace Insights in closed beta is a significant milestone for Brands looking to measure their key performance indicators (KPIs) against industry standards. This new tool will allow users to benchmark their KPIs against category medians and top performers, providing valuable insights into how their brand is performing compared to the competition.

The closed beta phase will allow selected users to test the brand metrics system and provide feedback on its functionality and performance. This will ensure that the tool is optimized and meets the needs of its users before it is made available to the public.

The Marketplace Insights system will use data and analytics to provide a comprehensive overview of a brand's performance in various areas such as engagement, conversion rate, new-to-brand rate, Branded Searches, etc. This information will be presented in an easy-to-understand format, making it accessible and useful for Brands.


This will help brands to have a better understanding of where they stand in the market and what steps they need to take to improve their performance. Please reach out to your account manager to get the access of this new analytics tool in Sellozo if you have access to Brand metrics data in Amazon.


4. Revised and expanded the hop tours within the app to improve the education and understanding for our clients

We are dedicated to improving the education and understanding of our clients and are pleased to announce the revision of our hop tours within the app. Our goal is to provide a seamless and informative experience for our users and to help them better understand the full potential of our app.


The revised hop tours will offer a comprehensive and interactive walkthrough of the app, highlighting its key features and benefits. The tours will be easy to follow and will provide in-depth information on how to use the app effectively.

The 'Take the Tour' button will now be constantly visible, regardless of whether it has been previously visited. In addition, a 'Back' button has been added to all hop tours, enabling users to return to any part of the tour and revisit it at any time.


Upcoming Features:
