Last-Minute Prime Day Checklist: Make the Most of Amazon’s Biggest Event

Prime Day is almost here — are you ready to capture all that traffic and convert as many eager shoppers as possible?


Here’s a quick last-minute checklist you can still act on today:


✅ Turn off Dayparting: Prime Day is a 24/7 traffic bonanza. Make sure your ads run around the clock so you don’t miss any high-intent shoppers.


💰 Check (and increase) your budgets: Your top campaigns will spend faster than usual. Make sure you’ve increased your daily budgets (we typically recommend at least 4X your normal spend) so your ads don’t go dark mid-day. Use Budget Rules to temporarily increase your budgets for the event.


🚀 Confirm your deals and discounts: Check that your Lightning Deals, coupons, and Prime Exclusive Discounts are all live and ready. Those Prime Day badges can be the difference between a browse and a buy.


🎯 Review bids and ACoS targets: With higher competition, you may need to be more aggressive. Adjust your bids and consider increasing your target ACoS temporarily to stay competitive and visible.


⚡ Expect higher spend overall: More traffic and competition means higher costs — plan accordingly so you aren’t surprised when you check your reports.
